Paint the Pacific: A 4-Week Acrylic Painting Series - Create Two Finished Paintings
Learn how to express ocean movement, light, and emotion through acrylics - and create two of your own original paintings, each infused with your unique vision and personality.

The Experience: Painting is more than technique — it’s about capturing a feeling, a memory, a moment in motion.  In this four-week series, you’ll explore acrylic painting in a way that feels expressive, relaxed, and nourishing. Together, we’ll work with layered color, texture, and movement — translating the energy of the Pacific into paint.  Each session builds on the last, guiding you from blank canvas to finished artwork with confidence and ease.  This class is designed to feel like stepping into the ocean: grounding, inspiring, and alive.

What You’ll Create: Each student will complete two finished 9 x 12" (or larger) acrylic paintings over the four sessions.  Painting One: Focus on composition, movement, and expressive mark-making styles. Painting Two: Explore personal expression, layered color, and texture inspired by ocean light.  You’ll learn how to move through the full painting process — choosing a meaningful subject, composition, color mixing, layering, and finishing — while developing your own visual voice.

What You’ll Learn: How to build strong, balanced compositions, color mixing for ocean blues, soft neutrals, and glowing highlights.  Acrylic techniques including glazing, dry brush, blending, and alternative painting tools.

Who This Series Is For: — beginners and returning painters are welcome.  For ocean lovers, anyone craving a calm, inspiring creative space, people who want to make something meaningful with their hands. If the ocean settles your nervous system, sparks your imagination, or pulls at your heart — this class will feel like home.
